Competition Commission of India are conducting National Level Essay Competition for the year 2012 and invites applications from enthusiastic Indian Citizen.
The essay competition is divided in to three categories Category A, B and C
Category A
Topic of Essay :
Benefits of Fair Competition in Markets
or
Role of CCI in promoting and sustaining Competition
Eligibility : Class of 11th and 12th
Length of Essay: 750-1500 words
Prizes:
- First Prize – Rs.7500/-
- Second Prize-Rs.5000/-
- Third Prize- Rs.3000/- and
- 10 Consolation Prize of Rs.1500/- each
Category B & C:
Essay Topic:
Competition: A Potent tool for Economic Development and Socio-Economic Welfare
or
Competition in Markets promotes economic efficiency
Eligibility:
For Category B: Under Graduates can apply
For Category C: Students pursuing PG/including Post Graduate Diplomas/M.Phil/PhD/CA/CWA/CS/MBA
Length of Essay:1500-3000 words
Prizes :
Category B:
- First Prize – Rs.10,000/-
- Second Prize-Rs.6000/-
- Third Prize- Rs.4000/- and
- 10 Consolation Prize of Rs.2000/- each
Category C:
- First Prize – Rs.15,000/-
- Second Prize-Rs.10,000/-
- Third Prize- Rs.6000/- and
- 10 Consolation Prize of Rs.2000/- each
